Get to Know the Alumni – Diogo Tonicher

Olá a todos! O meu nome é Diogo Tonicher, tenho 24 anos, sou Mestre em Ciências Farmacêuticas e um orgulhoso membro do Alumni Board da LisbonPH.

Durante o meu percurso académico, sempre valorizei as experiências que me poderiam fazer crescer e adquirir skills diferenciadoras e fundamentais para o mercado de trabalho e, por isso, nada melhor que ingressar na LisbonPH, uma Júnior Empresa que tem como visão formar os Profissionais de Saúde do futuro, empreendedores, criativos e multidisciplinares!

Em outubro de 2020, em plena pandemia, ingressei no Departamento Comercial e Vendas da LisbonPH, onde fui posto à prova desde o primeiro dia com o objetivo de me fazer crescer e colmatar todas as inseguranças que poderia ter. Ao ser muito bem recebido por toda a estrutura numa fase difícil a nível mundial, percebi desde cedo o que a LisbonPH poderia ser para mim e para todos aqueles que a querem aproveitar ao máximo: uma casa onde crescemos, criamos amizades e, acima de tudo, impactamos a sociedade positivamente.

Devido à pandemia, a LisbonPH teve que se adaptar, os majestosos eventos presenciais passaram para o digital, uma realidade outrora desconhecida mas que veio para ficar. Numa altura onde a desinformação em Saúde era cada vez maior, a LisbonPH juntou-se a inúmeras empresas da Indústria Farmacêutica e realizou vários webinars informativos sobre as vacinas e a COVID-19. Fazer parte de projetos impactantes, ter contacto com empresas de renome mundial e, posteriormente, ter o reconhecimento destes mesmos projetos a nível europeu é uma sensação incrível enquanto se é estudante e é muito disso que a LisbonPH tem para oferecer.

O meu percurso na LisbonPH culminou como Presidente Executivo, onde tive o privilégio de liderar uma fantástica equipa, inúmeros projetos impactantes e a internacionalização dos serviços da Júnior Empresa. Para mim, a LisbonPH são as pessoas e, por isso, a minha principal ambição sempre foi fomentar uma cultura de integridade, onde todos têm o seu valor reconhecido e onde o sentimento de gosto e pertença é evidente. 

Para além de tudo o que já mencionei, a LisbonPH trouxe-me algo que vou levar para sempre no coração: o Movimento Júnior. Ver a quantidade de jovens que não se querem limitar ao “habitual”, que querem lutar sempre por algo mais e que se ajudam mutuamente a crescer, fez-me perceber que seremos sempre aquilo que quisermos ser. Embora de áreas e localidades completamente diferentes, fiz amizades e adquiri conhecimentos que levo para a vida.

Atualmente, trabalho como Marketing & Medical Affairs Trainee na Eli Lilly & Company e posso, seguramente, dizer que a LisbonPH é a melhor rampa de lançamento para o mercado de trabalho que se pode ter enquanto estudante do MICF. Na LisbonPH, aprendemos a errar e a aprender com os erros, aprendemos a ultrapassar desafios e, acima de tudo, é-nos permitido sonhar e lutar pelos nossos sonhos.

Viver a LisbonPH é algo incrível mas só vocês poderão escrever a vossa história enquanto Júnior Empresários. A LisbonPH trará sempre mais desafios a quem pretende chegar mais longe, a LisbonPH fará de tudo para que sejam cada vez mais empreendedores, criativos e multidisciplinares mas, se querem verdadeiramente que isso aconteça, têm que ter vontade e determinação para superar todas as adversidades que vos possam aparecer no caminho porque, no final, tudo fará sentido e poderão sair com o sentimento de dever cumprido!

Hello, everyone! My name is Diogo Tonicher, I‘m 24 years old, I have a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and I am a proud member of the LisbonPH‘s Alumni Board.

Throughout my academic career, I have always valued experiences that would help me grow and acquire distinctive and fundamental skills for the job market. Therefore, there was no better choice than joining LisbonPH, a Junior Enterprise whose vision is to train the Healthcare Professionals of the future, entrepreneurial, creative, and multidisciplinary!

In October 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, I joined LisbonPH’s Commercial and Sales Department, where I was put to the test from day one with the aim of helping me grow and overcome any insecurities I might have. Being very well received by the entire structure at a difficult time worldwide, I realised early on what LisbonPH could be for me and for all those who want to make the most of it: a home where we grow, make friends and, above all, have a positive impact on society.

Due to the pandemic, LisbonPH had to adapt, and the majestic in-person events moved online, a reality that was once unknown but is now here to stay. At a time when misinformation about health was on the rise, LisbonPH joined forces with numerous companies in the pharmaceutical industry and held several informative webinars on vaccines and COVID-19. Being part of impactful projects, having contact with world-renowned companies and, subsequently, having these same projects recognised at European level is an incredible feeling as a student, and that is very much what LisbonPH has to offer.

My journey at LisbonPH culminated as the Executive President, where I had the privilege of leading a fantastic team, numerous impactful projects, and the internationalisation of the Junior Enterprise’s services. For me, LisbonPH is about the people, and so my main ambition has always been to foster a culture of integrity, where everyone’s value is recognised and where a sense of enjoyment and belonging is evident. 

In addition to everything I have already mentioned, LisbonPH has given me something that I will carry in my heart forever: the Junior Movement. Seeing the number of young people who do not want to limit themselves to the “usual”’, who always want to strive for something more and who help each other to grow, made me realise that we will always be what we want to be. Although from completely different areas and locations, I made friends and acquired knowledge that I will carry with me for life.

I currently work as a Marketing & Medical Affairs Trainee at Eli Lilly & Company, and I can safely say that LisbonPH is the best launch pad into the job market that you can have as a Pharmaceutical Sciences student. At LisbonPH, we learn to make mistakes and learn from them, we learn to overcome challenges, and above all, we are allowed to dream and fight for our dreams.

Experiencing LisbonPH is incredible, but only you can write your story as Junior Entrepreneurs. LisbonPH will always bring more challenges to those who want to go further. LisbonPH will do everything to make you more entrepreneurial, creative, and multidisciplinary, but if you truly want this to happen, you must have the will and determination to overcome all the adversities that may come your way because, in the end, everything will make sense, and you will be able to leave with a sense of accomplishment!
